Notification

The 26th March, 2018

No. 221-Agri. Sec. (1)-2018/4204.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (iii) of sub-section (1) read

with sub-section (2) of Section 6-A of the Haryana Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 (Act 23 of 1961), the

Governor of Haryana hereby declares his intention to spilt up the notified market area of Market Committee, Sonepat

to constitute two Committees thereof under column 1 and 2 respectively of the Schedule given below by excluding

therein the area specified under column 3 of the said Schedule from the Market area of Sonepat and to constitute the

Market area of Kharkhoda having that area.

Now, therefore, notice is hereby given for the information of the public in general and especially the person

likely to be affected, to invite objections and suggestions, if any, within a period of thirty days from the date of

publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. Such objections or suggestions as may be received by the

Principal Secretary to Government, Haryana, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Chandigarh, with respect

to aforesaid proposal within the period so specified, shall be taken into consideration.

appoints the Sub Divisional Officer (civil), Kharkhoda to exercise the powers and perform the functions of Market

Committee Kharkhoda, District Sonepat, till such committee is constituted and its Chairman and Vice Chairman is

nominated.
