Notification

The 12th April, 2018

No. 13/11/2016IT(1).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 24 of the Haryana Motor

Vehicles Taxation Act, 2016 (24 of 2016), the Governor of Haryana is pleased to authorize the following as

“Taxation Officer”:-

(1)

Each SDO(C) appointed as registering authority by the Government under the Haryana Motor Vehicles

Rules, 1993, as amended from time to time, within its jurisdiction in respect of non-transport vehicles.

(2)

Each Secretary, Regional Transport Authority appointed as registering authority by the Government

under the Haryana Motor Vehicles Rules, 1993, as amended from time to time, within its jurisdiction in

respect of transport vehicles and motor vehicles registered in other States and entering the State of

Haryana.

(3)

Officer Incharge, Transport Branch office of Transport Commissioner, Haryana, Chandigarh appointed

as registering authority by the Government under the Haryana Motor Vehicles Rules, 1993, as amended

from time to time in respect of non-transport vehicles.
