The 3rd May, 2018

No.3/2/2016-1HBII.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of

India, the Governor of Haryana, hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Haryana Ayurvedic

Department, (Ministerial) Group ‘C’ Service Rules, 1990 namely :-

1.

These rules may be called the Haryana Ayurvedic Department (Ministerial) Group ‘C’ Service (Amendment)

Rules, 2018.

2. In the Haryana Ayurvedic Department (Ministerial) Group ‘C’ Service Rules, 1990, in Appendix B, against

serial number 4, under columns 1, 2, 3 and 4, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted ,

namely:-

Driver

(i)

Matric ;

(ii)

Should have a heavy transport

vehicle

valid driving licence

atleast three years old;

(iii) Should have passed the driving

test conducted by the Haryana

Staff Selection Commission;

(iv) Should not be colour blind ;

(v) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric or

standard of higher education and

knowledge to maintain log book

properly:

By Promotion-

(i)

Matric ;

(ii) Three years experience as Group-D employee;

(iii) Should have a heavy transport vehicle valid

driving licence atleast three years old;

(iv) Should have passed the driving test conducted

by the Department;

(v) Should not be colour blind ;

(vi) Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric or standard of higher

education and knowledge to maintain log book

properly:

(vii) Should not be more than fifty years of age;

By transfer or deputation -

(i) Matric ;

(ii) Should have a heavy transport vehicle valid

driving licence atleast three years old;

(iii) Three years experience of driving heavy

transport vehicle;

(iv) Should not be colour blind ;

(v)

Hindi /Sanskrit upto Matric or standard of

higher education and knowledge to maintain

log book properly:

(vi) If not already working on the post of driver

then should not be more than fifty years of

age.";
