Notification

The 9th May, 2018

No.18/5/2017-3JJ(I).— Sh. Raheesh Khan, MLA was appointed as Chairman of the Haryana Waqf Board, in

pursuance of the provisions of sub-rule (9) of rule 36 of the Haryana Waqf Rules, 2012, vide Government

Notification No. 18/2/1996-3JJ(1) dated 28.03.2017. Now, the Government of Haryana has decided to provide the

status as equal to the “Minister of State” to the Chairman of Haryana State Waqf Board and he will be entitled for all

the facilities being provided to a “Minister of State”. All the expenditure involved will be borne by the Haryana Waqf

Board itself being the statutory body under the provisions of Haryana Waqf Rules, 2012.
