No. Elec-2018/FW/PSCE/Hol/10191.— Whereas, the General Election to Legilative Assembly of Rajasthan-

2018 for which poll shall be held on the 7-12-2018 (Friday) as per letter issued by the Chief Electrol Officer, Haryana

issued vide letter No. 130 (Public Holiday)/Elec-2018/2AE-5646 dated 30-10-2018.

And, whereas, it has been considered necessary to provide opportunity to the public to exercise their franchise.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section 65 of the Factories Act,

1948 (Central Act 63 of 1948) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to

exempt only those workers who are working in the factories of the State of Haryana and are enrolled as the voters in

the State of Rajashtan where General Election of Legilative Assembly are to be held on 7-12-2018 (Friday) from the

operations of provisions of Sub-section (1) of Section 52 of the said Act, for the week commencing from 09-12-2018

and ending on 15-12-2018, subject to the condition that no adult worker who is enrolled as voter in General Election

to Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan, 2018 shall be required or allowed to work on 07-12-2018 (Friday) in the

factories of the state of Haryana.
