Notification

The 17th December, 2018

No. SEC/4E-II/2018/1964.— Whereas the State Election Commission vide its notification No.SEC/3E-

II/2016/3669, dated 11.05.2016 had notified the name of Smt. Geeta Rani w/o Sh. Krishan Chand under section 161

(4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 as elected President of Zila Parishad, Fatehabad.

And, whereas, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Fatehabad vide his letter

No.12541/PA/Panchayat, dated 12.12.2018 has informed that in a meeting held on 12.12.2018 “No Confidence

Motion” has been passed against Smt.Geeta Rani, President, Zila Parishad Fatehabad and has requested to de-notify

name her name as such .

In view of above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Geeta Rani w/o

Sh. Krishan Chand as elected President of Zila Parishad, Fatehabad with immediate effect.
