Notification

The 28th January, 2019

No. SEC/4E-II/2019/87.— Whereas, State Election Commission vide its Notification No. SEC/

E-II/2016/2098, dated 10.02.2016 had notified the name of Sh. Bishpal Singh s/o Sh. Balbir Singh as Sarpanch,

Gram Panchayat Agondh, Block Guhla, District Kaithal under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act,

1994.

Whereas, as per order dated 13.08.2018 passed by the Additional Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), Guhla in an election

petition titled Birender Singh Vs. Vishpal and others, election of Vishpal @ Bishpal Singh son of

Balbir Singh as Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat- Agondh has been set aside.

And whereas, the Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal vide its memo No.9016/Panchayat, dated 06.12.2018, has

informed that appeal filed by Sh. Bishpal Singh through CWP No. 21431 of 2018 titled as Vishpal versus State of

Haryana and others in the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court has also been dismissed vide order dated

27.08.2018. He has also further informed that Sh. Bishpal Singh has filed SLP in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India,

but no any stay order has been granted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

In view of above, the State Election Commission, Haryana, hereby denotifies the name of Sh. Bishpal Singh

s/o Sh. Balbir Singh as Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Agondh, Block Guhla, District Kaithal with immediate effect.
