The 9th August, 2019

No. G.S.R. 38/Const./Art. 309/2019.― In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of

the Constitution of India, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana

Public Works Department (Building and Roads Branch) Junior Engineers (Group-C) Service Rules, 1998, namely:-

1.

These rules may be called the Haryana Public Works Department (Building and Roads Branch Branch)

Junior Engineers (Group-C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2019.

2.

In the Haryana Public Works Department (Building and Roads Branch) Junior Engineers (Group-C)

Service Rules, 1998, in Appendix ‘B’ for the words and sign “Hindi / Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or

Higher Education”, wherever occurring, the word “Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matric or

Higher Education” shall be substituted.
