Preliminary Notification

The 26th August, 2019

No. 9523.— Whereas, it appears to the Governor of Haryana that a total of 0.4125 acres land is required in the

Gadhauli Village Naraingarh Tehsil Ambala District for public purpose, namely, Construction of guide bund of H.L

Bridge 9 span 18.75 mtr each over Markanda River crossing Naraingarh – Sadhaura Road (SH-01) in km 34.00 on

U/S toward Sadhaura (Already constructed during 1996-97) (in village Gadhauli) Tehsil Naraingarh in District

Ambala Social Impact Assessment Study was carried out by Social Impact Assessment Unit and a report

submitted/preliminary investigation was conducted by a team of officers constituted by the Collector as laid down

under rule 9 of the Haryana Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and

Resettlement Rules, 2018. The summary of the Social Impact Assessment report/preliminary investigation is as

follows (Attach copy of SIA report):

A total 3 (no.) families are likely to be displaced due to the land acquisition. The reason necessitating such

displacement is given below.

No Rehabilitation / Resettlement is involved as Administrator for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement

of the affected families. Therefore, it is notified that for the above said project in the Gadhauli village of Naraingarh

Tehsil Ambala District a piece of land measuring, 0.4125 acres viz, 0.165 hectare i.e 3 kanal 6 marla of standard

measuring, whose detail description is as following, is under acquisition:

This notification is made under the provisions of sub-section (i) of section-11 of the Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of

2013), to all to whom it may concern.

A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector Haryana PWD B&R Ambala Cantt. /

Executive Engineer Provincial Division PWD B&R Naraingarh (Ambala) on any working day during the working

hours.

The Governor of Haryana hereby authorizes to the Officers of Haryana PWD B&R Naraingarh (Ambala) and

his staff of Haryana PWD B&R Naraingarh (Ambala) to enter upon and survey land, take levels of any land, dig or

bore into the sub-soil & do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in

section 12 of the said Act.

Under section 11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e.

sale/purchase, etc., or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification without

prior approval of the Collector.

Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the person interested within a period of sixty days from

the date of publication of this notification as provided under section 15 of the Act before the Collector.
