Notification

The 22nd November, 2019

No. SEC/4E-II/2019/1592.— Whereas, the State Election Commission vide its Notification No. SEC/3E-

II/2016/4148 dated 24.05.2019 had notified the name of Smt. Menka Devi W/o Sh. Sunil Kumar under Section 161 (4)

of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 as elected Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Dadri-I, District Bhiwani

(now in Charkhi Dadri).

And, whereas, Deputy Commissioner, Charkhi Dadri endorsed a letter no. 5134/Panchyat, dated 19.11.2019 to

the Commission with the information that a meeting was held on 04.11.2019 under Chairmanship of Additional

Deputy Commissioner, Charkhi Dadri to consider no confidence motion against Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti,

Bound/Dadri-1. Out of 30 members of the Panchayat Samiti, 20 had supported the no confidence motion. Hence, no

confidence motion against Smt. Menka Devi, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Bound/ Dadri-I has been passed. It

has been requested to de-notify her name.

In view of above, State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Menka Devi W/o

Sh. Sunil Kumar as Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Bound/ Dadri-I (now in Charkhi Dadri) with immediate effect.
