No. 4/7/2017-2H(C).— In pursuance of sub-clause (c) of clause 2 of the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018 as

approved by the Hobn’ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 5th December, 2018 passed in Writ Petition

(Criminal) No. 156 of 2016 titled as Mahender Chawla and Others Vs Union of India and Others, the Governor of

Haryana hereby constitute a Standing Committee in each District chaired by respective District and Sessions Judge

with the Head of Police in the District as Member and the Head of Prosecution in the District as its Member Secretary

for purpose of the said scheme.
