No. 22/76/2003-2T (I).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of Sub-section (1) of Section 67 of
the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) and in supersession of Haryana Government, Transport
Department, Notification No. 22/76/2003-2T(I), dated the 4th November, 2019, the Governor of Haryana hereby
issues to the State Transport Authority, Haryana, the following directions regarding fixation of rates of fare and
freights for stage carriage in the State of Haryana, namely:-

The State Transport Authority, Haryana is hereby directed to fix the following rates of the fare and freights for
stage carriages in the State:-

Explanations:-
1.
If distance is more than 100 kilometers, the fare shall be 105.00 paisa per passenger per kilometre for
the entire distance including first 100 kilometer.
2.
The minimum chargeable fare (after including passenger tax) shall be five rupees.
3.
Freight for personal luggage shall be half of the standard/ordinary bus fare per Kilometre per
40 Kilograms. No fare shall be charged for personal luggage below 40 Kilograms of weight.
4.
Other explanations:-
(a)
Fare calculated (including Passenger Tax) for different stages of bus routes shall be rounded off
to the nearest rupee.
(b)
The fraction below half a kilometre shall be ignored and more than half a kilometre shall be
treated as full kilometer.
