The 14th December, 2020

No. 2/62/2020-1IW.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section-3 of “The Haryana Water Resources

(Conservation, Regulation and Management) Authority Act, 2020 (Act No. 29 of 2020)” and with effect from the

7th December, 2020, the Haryana Government hereby establishes “The Haryana Water Resources (Conservation,

Regulation and Management) Authority” as a body corporate by the said name having perpetual succession and a

common seal, with power, subject to the provisions of the Act and the rules and regulations made there under, to

acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and to contract, and shall, by the said name, sue

or be sued.

2.

The Authority shall have its headquarter at Panchkula.
