Chapter 5 – Procedure

1.

In the Haryana Registration Manual, after para 127– Identification of parties; the following para 127–A shall

be inserted, namely:–

―Para 127-A – Proof of Residence, while registering Power–of–Attorney

It shall be obligatory, in compliance of clause (a) of Sub-section (1) of Section 33 of the Act,

while registering power–of–attorney to annex anyone of the following documents in support of proof

of residence within the jurisdiction of sub-district concerned:–

(a)

Aadhar card.

(b)

Electoral photo identity card (EPIC)

(c)

Driving License

(d)

Passport

(e)

Bank Passbook

(f)

Senior Citizen Identity Card‖
