Notification

The 8th April, 2021

No. 7/6/2021-2TCP.— In exercise of the power available under Sub-section (3) of Section 41 of Gurugram

Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2017, the Governor of Haryana directs that the duty on the transfer of

immovable properties situated within the limits of the Gurugram Metropolitan Area notified by the Government on

12.07.2017 and within the limits of Municipal Corporation, Gurugram or Municipal Corporation, Manesar, shall, in

addition to the duty imposed under the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, be at a rate of 1 per centum of the amounts specified

on every instrument of the description specified in sub-section (3) of section 41 of the Gurugram Metropolitan

Development Authority Act, 2017.

The duty shall be collected, at the time of registration of documents by the Registrar or Sub-Registrar under

the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and paid to the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority.
