Notification

The 8th April, 2021

No. 8/5/2021-4CII.— In exercise of the powers vested under clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 87 of the

Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 and all other powers vested in him in this behalf enabling him to do so,

the Governor of Haryana, in partial modification to the notification bearing No. 8/5/2021-4CII dated 05.03.2021, is

further pleased to direct that the duty on transfer of immovable properties situated within the limits of Municipal

Corporations in the State, except within the limits of Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, by way of every

instruments of description specified under the said clause (c) of the said sub section shall be at the rate of

2 per centum in addition to duty imposed under the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, as in force for the time being in the State

of Haryana.

The Governor of Haryana is further pleased to direct that the duty on transfer of immovable properties situated

within the limits of Municipal Corporation of Gurugram by way of every instruments of description specified under

the said clause (c) of the said sub section shall be at the rate of 1 per centum in addition to duty imposed under the

Indian Stamp Act, 1899, as in force for the time being in the State of Haryana.

Rest of the provisions of the above stated notification dated 05.03.2021 shall remain the same in its application

for/within the limits of the Municipal Corporations of the State.
