Notification

The 24th December, 2021

No. 52/67/2021-2C1.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section-9, Sub-section (1),

(2), (3), (4), (7) and (8) of Section-10 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (Act 24 of 1973) and Rule 7 of the

Haryana Municipal Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1977, the Governor of Haryana, in continuation of the Haryana

Government, Urban Local Bodies Department Notification No. 52/67/2021-2C1, dated 29th November, 2021 and in

pursuance of the provisions of Rule 10 of the Haryana Municipal Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1977, hereby allots the

seats of the Municipal Council, Fatehabad, District – Fatehabad amongst 27 wards for the purpose of election of

members in the said municipality as follows:-

Out of 27 wards, 06 wards viz ward numbers 03, 05, 09, 15, 16 and 27 shall be reserved for the members

belonging to the Scheduled Castes, out of which ward numbers 05 & 15 shall be reserved for the members belonging

to the Scheduled Castes Women, ward numbers 17 and 26 shall be reserved for members belonging to the Backward

Classes and ward numbers 02, 04, 07, 10, 13, 18 and 22 shall be reserved for the Women.
