Notification

The 10th February, 2022

No. 4/22/2016- R-II.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of Constitution of

India and sub-section (1) read with clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 49 of the Haryana Fire Service Act, 2009

(12 of 2009), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Fire

(Group B) Service Rules, 2016, namely:-

1.

These rules may be called the Haryana Fire (Group B) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2022.

2.

In the Haryana Fire (Group B) Service Rules, 2016, in Appendix B, against serial number 3, under column 3,

for the existing item (iii) and entries thereagainst, the following item and entries thereagainst shall be substituted,

namely:-

“(iii)

for male:-

Should have minimum physical standard i.e. Height- 170 Centimeters, Weight 54 kg. and Chest

32” (inches) unexpanded and 34” (inches) expanded (without clothes), Eye Sight 6/6 (without

glasses) and 6/6 (with or without glasses after the age of 45 years);

for female:-

Should have minimum physical standard i.e. Height-152 Centimeters, Weight 47.5kg., Eye Sight

6/6 (without glasses) and 6/6 (with or without glasses after the age of 45 years).”
