Review of the Annual Administrative Report of the Architecture Department, Haryana

for the Year 2018-19

The 2nd March, 2022

The Department of Architecture, Haryana, is a State Government Organization with vast and varied

experience of more than 52 years. The Department has a key role in the designing and development of infrastructure

in the State of Haryana. It renders architectural services to all State Government Departments/Boards/Corporations/

Autonomous bodies/ Universities in planning and designing of a wide spectrum of building types.

The department is involved in the planning and execution of the projects of Revenue, Judiciary, Health,

Education and Technical education, Sports, Social Welfare and other departments of Haryana. The department has

planned new hospitals as well as up-gradatin of existing hospitals, Community Health Centers, Primary Health

Centers and Sub Health Centers at variouys places in the entire state. The department is planning E-Disha Kendra

(Saral) at District and Sub Division levels, approx. 64 no. Government Colleges for the Higher Education Department

and various District Head quarter buildings for Excise and Taxation Depertment.

The Department of Architecure also coordinates with the user departments as well as the different Engineering

departments at planning stage and at field level to complete a record number of building projects in a manner to

achieve economical, functionally suitable and aesthetically appealing designs.
