No. 8/33/2022-3CII.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule-11 of Municipal Delimitation of Wards

Rules, 1978 and in pursuance of the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department Notification

No. 8/33/2022-3CII dated 06.09.2022, the Governor of Haryana hereby declares the boundaries of Ward No. 01, 02,

03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 22 & 31 of the Municipal Council, Thanesar, District – Kurukshetra, to be read as under :-

Ward No. 01 :- Starting from 33KV Sub Station Jhansa Road situated on Northern Western limit of MC Thanesar

and going in south direction up to the Bhadarkali Chowk, then moving in east direction up to the corner of Dhananjay

Sanitary Store, then moving in south direction up to the House of Subhash, then moving in west direction up to the

House of Pappy, then moving in South direction via Dr. Shanti House up to the intersection of Chhota Bazar Main

Gali, then moving the west direction and crossing the Gaushala Bazar then moving in north direction up to the corner

of Masjid, then moving in west direction up to the corner of Museum, then moving in north direction and crossing the

Shek Chilly Makbra up to the intersection of MC Thanesar limit, then moving in north east direction along the

boundary of MC limit up to the corner 33KV Sub Station, which is the starting point.

Ward No. 02 :- Starting from the corner of MC limit and 33KV Sub Station situated in Jhansa Road and moving

along the north east boundary of MC Thanesar up to the intersection of Saraswati River, then moving along the south

east limit of MC Thanesar up to the corner of Faridkot Gurudwara Wali Gali, then moving in south direction via

Sham Colony Gali and in front of Gurudwara up to the corner of House of Maya Ram situated on Jhansa Road, then

moving along the Jhansa Road up to the Ravidass Chowk, then moving in Jhansa road in south direction up to the

shop of Krishan Card Wala, then moving in west direction up to the Kariyana Store, then moving in north direction

intersection of Gandhi Nagar Road, then moving in the west direction on Gandhi Nagar road up to the Ravidass

Chowk, then moving on Jhansa Road in north west direction up to the House of Maya Ram, then moving in north

starting point.

Station along Railway line up to the intersection of Red Road Flyover, then moving on Red Road under the Flyover

and crossing the Shardanand Chowk up to the L.G. Showroom then moving in south direction up to the Shop of Gian

tyre then crossing the Sursain Chowk up to the intersection of Gurudwara Chowk, then moving in North East

direction and crossing the Ambedkar Chowk up to the Vishavkarma Chowk, then moving on Jhansa Road up to the

intersection of Railway line, which is the starting point.

Ward No. 06 :- Starting from intersection of Bishangarh Road and MC Thanesar limit, then going along said limit in

east direction and crossing the Delhi Ambala Railway line up to the corner of Vashisht Colony, then moving towards

south direction from said corner up the corner of Jagdish Kalra Park, the moving towards west direction up to the

intersection of Kaithal Railway line, then moving along Railway line towards Kaithal crossing the open area up to the

corner of Govt. Toilet, then moving on Gandhi Nagar road towards west direction up to the intersection of

Bishangarh road, then moving towards north direction of Bishangarh road up to the intersection of MC Thanesar,

which is the starting point.

Ward No. 07 :- Starting from intersection of MC Thanesar limit and Vashisht Colony corner and moving towards

north direction up to the extended limit of MC Thanesar, then moving towards north direction along said limit and

Kamred Colony up to the intersection of MC Thanesar old limit and Sirsla Road, then moving from said limit

crossing the Shamshan Ghat and moving in south direction on Sirsla Road up to the intersection of Pipli Road, then

moving towards west direction up to the corner of Shaheed Jagdish Kalra Park, then moving towards north direction

up to the intersection of MC Thanesar limit and Vashisht Colony corner, which is the starting point.

Ward No. 22 :- Starting from the Devi Ahilayabai Chowk on Railway Road and moving towards east direction up to

Petrol pump, from this point on the Railway Road up to the Nijam tailor and left side of Saberwal street up to the Jain

school gate, from this point around the Jain school eastern boundary up to the red Road, from this point towards

eastern side up to the joint of Railway line and Pipli Road, from this point along with Railway line up to the Railway

station, from this point towards western side up to the front of Kuwatra Boot House, from this point across the

Railway Road towards southern side in the left side of Sanatan Dharm Mandir up to the shop of Om, from this point

towards western side up to the H/o Khem Chand, from this point towards southern side on the Aamin Road up to the

H/o Jagjeet Singh, from this point on the Amin Road towards north-west side up to the Devi Ahilayabai Chowk on
