Ban on Postings/Transfers of Officers/Officials who are engaged in conduct of General elections

of Gram Panchayat Ajampur, Block Naraingarh District Ambala, Gram Panchayat Chabri,

Block Jind, Gram Panchayat Bhartana, Block Pillukhera, Gram Panchayat Rojkhera, Block

Uchana, District Jind and Gram Panchayat Juan-1 Block Sonipat, District Sonipat during the

period of Model Code of Conduct is in force.

Sir,

I have been directed to refer to the above subject and to say that the State Election Commission, Haryana has

issued notification for conduct of general elections for Gram Panchayat Ajampur, Block Naraingarh District

Ambala, Gram Panchayat Chabri, Block Jind, Gram Panchayat Bhartana, Block Pillukhera, Gram Panchayat

Rojkhera, Block Uchana, District Jind and Gram Panchayat Juan-1 Block Sonipat, District Sonipat vide Notification

No. SEC/4E-II/2023/1403, dated 20.07.2023(copy enclosed). As per election schedule, nomination papers shall be

presented from 28.07.2023 to 03.08.2023 and poll shall be held on 13.08.2023. Counting of votes shall be held

immediately after the close of poll at the polling stations of the Gram Panchayat concerned.

I have, therefore, been directed to request you that officers/officials of the State Government deputed to

conduct the above said elections or connected with the conduct of these elections in any manner must not be

transferred till the declaration of election results above said Gram Panchayats. However, in case, where it is

considered necessary to transfer an officer/official connected with the above said Panchayat elections in larger

public interest due to some emergency, prior written approval of the State Election Commission must be obtained.

Necessary instructions in this regard may kindly be issued to all the Departments, Boards, Corporations,

Autonomous Bodies/Authorities etc. of the State Government under intimation to the State Election Commission,

Haryana.
