No. F.W./Election-2023/3666.— Whereas the General Elections to Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, for

which poll shall be held on the 25.11.2023 (Saturday) as per letter of the Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Hayana

issued vide no. 130 (Public Holiday) RJ. Gen. Elec-2023/2AE-5063 dated 23.10.2023 and Chief Electoral Officer

Rajasthan’s letters No. F.8(2)(22) Elec/2023/6267, dated 10.10.2023 and F.8(2)(1)Elec/2023/6356, dated 11.10.2023.

And whereas, it has been considered necessary to provide opportunity to the public to exercise their franchise.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 65 of the Factories Act, 1948

(Central Act 63 of 1948) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to

exempt all the adult workers working in the factories situated in the State of Haryana who are the voters in aforesaid

General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan State is to be held on 25.11.2023 from the operations of

provisions of sub-section (1) of section 52 of the said Act, for the week commencing from 26.11.2023 and ending

02.12.2023, subject to the condition that no adult worker who is enrolled as voter in aforesaid General Election to the

Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan State shall be required or allowed to work on 25.11.2023 (Saturday) in the

factories of the state of Haryana.
