Notification

The 1st December, 2023

No. 9/51/2023-4CII.— In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (8) of section 10 of the Haryana

Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) and in reference to the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies Department

order No. 9/51/2023-4CII dated 12th September, 2023, the Governor of Haryana hereby allots the seats of the

Municipal Committee, Indri, District Karnal amongst 14 wards for the purposes of election of members in the said

municipality, namely:-

Out of 14 wards, 03 wards viz ward numbers 08, 10 and 12 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the

Scheduled Castes, out of which ward number 12 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Scheduled Castes

Women. Ward numbers 03, 07 and 09 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Backward Classes ‘A’, out

of which ward number 09 shall be reserved for the members belonging to the Backward Classes ‘A’ Women. Ward

numbers 01, 02 and 13 shall be reserved for the Women.
