Notification

The 4th December, 2023

No. 21/2/2014-1T(II).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 138 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988

(Central Act 59 of 1988) and with reference to the Haryana Government, Transport Department (Regulatory Wing),

notification No. 21/2/2014-1T(II), dated the 18th October, 2023, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following

rules further to amend the Haryana Road Safety Fund Rules, 2018, namely:-

1.

These rules may be called the Haryana Road Safety Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

2.

In the Haryana Road Safety Fund Rule, 2018, in rule 8, for sub-rule 2 and 3, the following sub-rules shall be

substituted, namely:-

“(2) The Administrative Secretary, Transport Department shall be authorised to sanction expenditure on any

of the purpose (recurring and non-recurring) mentioned in the rules subject to maximum of fifty lakh

rupees in each case.

(3) The Member Secretary shall be authorised to sanction expenditure on any of the purpose (recurring and

non-recurring) mentioned in the rules subject to maximum of ten lakh rupees in each case.”
