Notification

The 15th October, 2024

No. 2/26/2021-1E.— The Distribution Reform Committee (DRC) at State level to cover the Revamped

Distribution Sector Scheme was constituted by the Government of Haryana vide Govt. Notification No. 2/26/2021-1P

dated 26/08/2021. In pursuance to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of Government of India, Ministry of

New and Renewable Energy vide D.O No. 318/8/2024-Grid Connected Rooftop dated 26th April, 2024, in respect of

PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (Launched on dated 13.02.2024), the scope of the Distribution Reform Committee

(DRC) at State level to cover the Revamped Distribution Sector is hereby modified to the extent as under:

The constitution of the Committee shall be as Under:-

(i)

Chief Secretary , The Government of Haryana

(ii)

Addl. Chief Secretary (Energy), Govt. of Haryana

Convener

(iii)

Secretary (Finance), Govt. of Haryana

Member

(iv)

Secretary (Land revenue), Govt. of Haryana

Member

(v)

Secretary (Forest & environment), Member of Govt. of Haryana

(vi)

Managing Director, HVPNL

Member

(vii)

Managing Director, DHVBN

Member

(viii)

Managing Director, UHBVN

Distribution Reform Committee (DRC) shall review the progress of the Scheme at the State level. It shall:-

(i)

Recommend the Action Plan for approval of the State Cabinet.

(ii)

Recommend the DPRs for approval of Monitoring Committee

(iii)

Approve change in the mode of execution with the consent of the Nodal Agency.

(iv)

Monitor the implementation of the Action Plan.

(v)

Monitor physical and financial progress including quality of the projects; and

(vi)

Monitor physical and financial progress of PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna.

The committee is authorized to invite Director General/New and Renewable Energy Department, Haryana as a

special invitee for its meeting in pursuance of the objective outline above.
