Notification

The 22nd November, 2024

No. SEC/4E-II/2024/1011.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification

No. SEC/E-II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the name of Smt. Manjeet Kaur W/o Sh. Barjinder Singh as

Chairman, Panchayat Samiti Siwan, District Kaithal under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Kaithal vide his letter

No. 1437/Panchayat, dated 19.11.2024 has informed that in a meeting held on 12.11.2024, “No Confidence Motion”

has been passed against Smt. Manjeet Kaur, Chairman, Panchayat Samiti Siwan, District Kaithal. He has requested to

de-notify her name accordingly.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Manjeet Kaur

W/o Sh. Barjinder Singh as Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Siwan, District Kaithal with immediate effect.
