Notification

The 6th December, 2024

No. 9/149/2024-4CII.— In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 32 of the Haryana

Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (16 of 1994) and in consultation with State Election Commission, the Governor of

Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward

Rules, 1994, namely :-

1.

These rules may be called the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward (Amendment) Rules, 2024.

2.

In the Haryana Municipal Corporation Delimitation of Ward Rules, 1994, (hereinafter called the said rules), in

clause (i) of rule 5, after the words alphabet and signs “Backward Classes ‘A’ ”, the words, alphabet and signs

“, Backward Classes ‘B’ ” shall be inserted.

3.

In the said rules, in clause (c) of rule 7, for the words alphabet and signs “and Backward Classes ‘A’ ”, the

words, alphabet and signs “,Backward Classes ‘A’ and Backward Classes ‘B’ ” shall be substituted.
