Notification

The 2nd January, 2025

No. SEC/4E-II/2025/18.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification No. SEC/E-

II/023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the names of Sh. Sukhdev Singh S/o Sh. Dalip Singh, Chairman and Sh.

Surender Singh S/o Sh. Balbir Singh, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Chirao, District Karnal under section 161 (4)

of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Kaithal vide letter

No. 8662, dated 30.12.2024 has informed that in the meetings held on 20.12.2024, “No Confidence Motion” has been

passed against Sh. Sukhdev Singh S/o Sh. Dalip Singh, Chairman and Sh. Surender Singh S/o Sh. Balbir Singh,

Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Chirao, District Karnal respectively. He has requested to de-notify their names as

Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Chirao respectively.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the names of Sh. Sukhdev Singh

S/o Sh. Dalip Singh and Sh. Surender Singh S/o Sh. Balbir Singh from the seat of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of

Panchayat Samiti, Chirao, District Karnal respectively with immediate effect.
