Notification

The 9th January, 2025

No. SEC/4E-II/2025/37.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification

No. SEC/E-II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the name of Smt. Harpreet Kaur W/o Sh. Sawaran Singh,

Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Raipur Rani, District Panchkula under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati

Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Panchkula vide letter

No. 330/Panchayat, dated 07.01.2025 has informed that in a meeting held on 07.01.2025, “No Confidence Motion”

has been passed against Smt. Harpreet Kaur W/o Sh. Sawaran Singh, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti,

Raipur Rani, District Panchkula. He has requested to de-notify her name as Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti,

Raipur Rani, District Panchkula.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Harpreet Kaur

W/o Sh. Sawaran Singh from the seat of Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Raipur Rani, District Panchkula with

immediate effect.
