Notification

The 17th January, 2025

No. SEC/4E-II/2025/67.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification

No. SEC/E-II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the names of Sh. Sonu S/o Sh. Joginder, Chairman and

Smt. Krishna W/o Sh. Rohtash, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Ganaur, District Sonipat under section 161 (4) of

the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Sonipat vide letter

No. 249/P, dated 10.01.2025 has informed that in the meetings held on 10.01.2025, “No Confidence Motion” has

been passed against Sh. Sonu S/o Sh. Joginder, Chairman and Smt. Krishna W/o Sh. Rohtash, Vice-Chairman,

Panchayat Samiti, Ganaur, District Sonipat respectively. He has requested to de-notify their names as Chairman and

Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Ganaur respectively.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the names of Sh. Sonu

S/o Sh. Joginder and Smt. Krishna W/o Sh. Rohtash from the seat of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Panchayat

Samiti, Ganaur, District Sonipat respectively with immediate effect.
