Notification

The 17th January, 2025

No. SEC/4E-II/2025/72.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification

No. SEC/E-II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the names of Smt. Manjeet Sran W/o Sh. Sandeep Singh,

Chairman and Sh. Gurdev Singh S/o Sh. Veer Singh, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Baragudha, District Sirsa

under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Sirsa vide letter

No. 935/Election/Panchayat-2025, dated 13.01.2025 has informed that in the meetings held on 23.12.2024 and

26.12.2024, “No Confidence Motion” has been passed against Smt. Manjeet Sran W/o Sh. Sandeep Singh, Chairman

and Sh. Gurdev Singh S/o Sh. Veer Singh, Vice-Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Baragudha, District Sirsa respectively.

He has requested to de-notify their names as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Baragudha

respectively.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the names of Smt. Manjeet

Sran W/o Sh. Sandeep Singh and Sh. Gurdev Singh S/o Sh. Veer Singh from the seat of Chairman and

Vice- Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Baragudha, District Sirsa respectively with immediate effect.
