Notification

The 17th January, 2025

No. SEC/4E-II/2025/77.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide its notification

No. SEC/E-II/2023/280, dated 21.01.2023 had notified names of Smt. Aarti Tanwar W/o Sh. Manoj Kumar,

President and Sh. Birender Singh S/o Sh. Desh Raj, Vice-President, Zila Parishad, Palwal, District Palwal under

section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Palwal vide letter

No. 10612/P, dated 13.01.2025 and 10613/P, dated 13.01.2025 has informed that in the meetings held on

13.01.2025, “No Confidence Motion” has been passed against Smt. Aarti Tanwar W/o Sh. Manoj Kumar, President

and Sh. Birender Singh S/o Sh. Desh Raj, Vice-President, Zila Parishad, Palwal, District Palwal respectively. He has

requested to de-notify their names as President and Vice-President of Zila Parishad, Palwal respectively.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the names of Smt. Aarti

Tanwar W/o Sh. Manoj Kumar and Sh. Birender Singh S/o Sh. Desh Raj from the seat of President and

Vice- President of Zila Parishad, Palwal, District Palwal respectively with immediate effect.
