Notification

The 20th January, 2025

No. 09/03/2023-4CII.— In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Haryana

Municipal Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) and in view of the order dated the 3rd December, 2024 passed by the Hon’ble

Punjab and Haryana High Court in Civil Writ Petition No. 11697 of 2023 titled as Gram Panchayat, Kalanwali and

others Vs State of Haryana and others, the Governor of Haryana hereby rescinds the Haryana Government, Urban

Local Bodies Department, notification No. 09/03/2023-4CII, dated the 25th April, 2023 vide which the area of village

Kalanwali, area of Huda R-3 and adjoining area, Dera Radha Swami, Satsang Bhawan and Jangir Singh Colony was

included within the limits of Municipal Committee, Kalanwali, District Sirsa. Resultantly, the limits of Municipal

Committee, Kalanwali in district Sirsa shall remain as specified in the Haryana Government, Urban Local Bodies

Department, Notification No. 18/7/2003-3CI dated 14th November, 2003.
