No. 03/ 01 /2025-3lab.— Whereas the General Election to Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi for which

the poll shall be held on the 05.02.2025 (Wednesday) as per letter of the Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana issued vide

No. 130/(Paid Holiday)/Others State/Elec-2025/2AE:- 248 Dated 13.01.2025. And whereas, it has been considered

necessary to provide opportunity to the public to exercise their franchise.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 65 of the Factories Act, 1948

(Central Act 63 of 1948) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana is pleased to

exempt all the adult workers working in the factories situated in the State of Haryana who are the voters in General

Election to Legislative Assembly of NCT of Delhi which is to be held on 05.02.2025 from the operations of

provisions of section 52 (1) (a) of the said Act, for the week commencing from 02.02.2025 and ending 08.02.2025,

subject to the condition that no adult worker who is enrolled as voter in aforesaid election shall be required or allowed

to work on 05.02.2025 (Wednesday) in the factories of the state of Haryana.
