Notification

The 7th January, 2026

No. SEC/4E-II/2026/12.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide notification No.

SEC/E-II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the name of Smt. Varsha Gautam w/o Sh. Satyawan as Chairman,

Panchayat Samiti, Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Jhajjar vide letter No.

Panchayat/8426, dated 31.12.2025 has informed that in a meeting held on 29.12.2025, “No Confidence Motion” has

been passed against Smt. Varsha Gautam w/o Sh. Satyawan, Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Bahadurgarh, District

Jhajjar. The Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Jhajjar has requested to de-notify her

name as Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Bahadurgarh, District Jhajjar.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of

Smt. Varsha Gautam w/o Sh. Satyawan from the post of Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Bahadurgarh, District

Jhajjar with immediate effect.
