Notification

The 13th January, 2026

No. SEC/4E-II/2026/30.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide notification No. SEC/E-

II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the name of Smt. Monika Devi w/o Sh. Narender Kumar as Chairman,

Panchayat Samiti, Pillukhera, District Jind under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Jind vide letter

No. 148/Panchayat-Election, dated 07.01.2026 has informed that in a meeting held on 05.01.2026, “No Confidence

Motion” has been passed against Smt. Monika Devi w/o Sh. Narender Kumar, Chairman, Panchayat Samiti,

Pillukhera, District Jind. The Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Jind has requested to

de-notify her name as Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Pillukhera, District Jind.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Monika Devi

w/o Sh. Narender Kumar from the post of Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Pillukhera, District Jind with immediate

effect.
