Notification

The 30th January, 2026

No. SEC/4E-II/2026/121.— Whereas, the State Election Commission, Haryana vide notification No. SEC/E-

II/2023/289, dated 21.01.2023 had notified the name of Smt. Jyoti w/o Sh. Parveen Kumar as Chairman, Panchayat

Samiti, Bhattu Kalan, District Fatehabad under section 161 (4) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

And whereas the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Fatehabad vide letter

No. 429/Panchayat, dated 22.01.2026 has informed that in a meeting held on 05.01.2026, “No Confidence Motion”

has been passed against Smt. Jyoti w/o Sh. Parveen Kumar, Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Bhattu Kalan, District

Fatehabad. The Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (Panchayat), Fatehabad has requested to

de-notify her name as Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Bhattu Kalan, District Fatehabad.

In view of the above, the State Election Commission, Haryana hereby denotifies the name of Smt. Jyoti w/o

Sh. Parveen Kumar from the post of Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Bhattu Kalan, District Fatehabad with

immediate effect.
