Notification

The 19th February, 2026

No. G.S.R. 2/Const./Art. 309/2026.— In exercise of the powers conferred under the proviso to article 309 of

the Constitution of India, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana

Police Service Rules, 2002, namely:-

(1)

These rules may be called the Haryana Police Service (Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2)

They shall come into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

In the Haryana Police Service Rules, 2002, in rule 7, for the existing Note, the following Note shall be

substituted, namely:-

“Note.- A candidate having ten years regular service as Deputy Superintendent of Police shall be

re-designated as Additional Superintendent of Police in his own pay scale subject to availability of

vacant posts in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police.”.
