The 10th August, 2026

No. 1162-STR-1-2026.— In exercise of the powers conferred under the proviso to clause (a) of sub-section (1)

of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act 2 of 1899), the Governor of Haryana hereby reduces and fixes

the stamp duty at Rs. 500/- (Five hundred rupees only) per deed to be chargeable under article 23(a) of Schedule 1-A

of the said Act, in respect of conveyance deeds relating to houses up to 60(sixty) square meters registered under the

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0), subject to production of a certificate issued by the

Department of Housing for All (DHFA) or the designated Competent Authority certifying that the transferee is a

registered beneficiary under the said scheme.
