No. Leg. 32/2026.— The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received

the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 11th September, 2026 and is hereby published for

general information:-

HARYANA ACT NO. 26 OF 2026

THE HARYANA STATE COMMISSION FOR WOMEN (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2026

AN

ACT

further to amend the Haryana State Commission for Women Act, 2012.

BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Seventy-seventh Year of

the Republic of India as follows:-

1.

(1)

This Act may be called the Haryana State Commission for Women (Amendment)

Act, 2026.

(2)

It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 9th July, 2026.

Short title and

commencement.

2.

In clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Haryana State Commission for Women

Act, 2012, for the word “five”, the word “seven” shall be substituted.

Amendment of

section 3 of

Haryana Act 27

of 2012.

3.

(1)

The Haryana State Commission for Women (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026

(Haryana Ordinance No. 5 of 2026) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said

Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
