No. Leg.35/2026.— The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana

received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 17th September, 2026 and is hereby

published for general information:-

HARYANA ACT NO. 29 OF 2026

THE HARYANA COURTS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2026

AN

ACT

further to amend the Haryana Courts Act, 1918.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Seventy-seventh Year of the

Republic of India as follows:-

1.

This Act may be called the Haryana Courts (Amendment) Act, 2026.

Short title.

2.

For clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 30 of the Haryana Courts Act, 1918, the

following clause shall be substituted, namely:-

“(a)

Proceedings under the Indian Succession Act, 1925 (Central Act 39 of 1925) which

cannot be disposed of by the District Judge.”.

Amendment of

section 30 of

Punjab Act 6 of

1918.
