SHOW CAUSE NOTICE

Shimla-171002, the 12th July, 2010

No. EDN-A-(B)14-2/2007 Whereas Mrs. Priyanka Dulta, lecturer in English, joined her

duties at GC Theog on 7-3-2007 on her fresh appointment and immediately after serving the

department just for 14 days applied for medical leave w.e.f. 21-3-2007. Thereafter, she again

applied for extension of leave on 18-4-2007 on medical ground.

Whereas Mrs. Priyanka Dulta, lecturer in English, did not join her duty and applied for

extension of her leave on medical grounds vide her application dated 18-5-2007, 16-6-2007 &

14-7-2007. The said lecturer submitted one more application on 14-7-2007 vide which she

requested for permission to go abroad i.e. U.S.A. to join her husband. The Government granted the

permission in favour of Mrs. Priyanka Dulta, to visit abroad subject to the condition that she will

visit during the vacation / earned leave and will not extend her leave etc. An undertaking to this

effect was also obtained from the said lecturer. Though a period of more than 2 years has elapsed,

but the said lecturer has not reported for her duties till date.

Whereas a show cause notice has been issued to her vide this department notice of even No.

dated 23rd March 2010 and the Principal GC Theog was directed to ensure the said notice be

delivered to her within a week at her address shown in the departure report. The Principal, GC

Theog informed that the notice was posted under registered cover to Smt. Priyanka Dulta at her
