applied for appointment as Public Notary under the Notaries Act, 1952 (53 of 1952) and the

Notaries Rules, 1956 made thereunder, within the territorial limits of Sub-Division Hamirpur of

No. TPT-A(3)2/2002-Composite fee.—WHEREAS the draft Himachal Pradesh Motor

Vehicles (Second Amendment) Rules, 2010 were published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh on

dated 06/07/2010, vide notification of even number dated 01/07/2010 in pursuance of the provision

of section 212 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act NO. 59 of 1988) for inviting objections and

suggestion from person(s) likely to be affected thereby, within a period of 15 days from the date of

publication;

AND, WHEREAS no objection has been received to the Government on the said draft

rules within the stipulated period;

NOW, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section (2) of section 96 read

with Section-211 and 212 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, (Act NO:59 of 1988), the Governor of

Himachal Pradesh is pleased to make the following rules, further to amend the Himachal Pradesh

Motor Vehicles Rules, 1999, namely:—

Short title.—These rules may be called the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles

(Second Amendment) Rules, 2010.

Substitution of rule-69-A.—For rule-69-A of the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles

Rules, 1999, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“69-A. Composite fee for All India Permits.—There shall be levied, charged and paid to the

State Government, a composite fee at the following rates, in respect of tourist vehicles

which are authorized to ply in the State of Himachal Pradesh under All India Permits

granted by any State Transport Authority of other State or Union Territory under sub-

section (9) of section 88 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, namely:-

(a) having seating capacity to carry more than twelve passengers excluding driver.—

Rs. 10,000/- per month (30 days) for three trips and Rs. 4,000/- for any additional trip

within the same month.

(b) having seating capacity to carry more than six passengers but not more than twelve

passengers excluding driver.—Rs. 6000 per quarter or Rs. 2200 per month(30 days).

(c) having seating capacity to carry not more than six passengers excluding the driver.—

Rs. 600/- per quarter.

Provided that where the aforesaid amount of composite fee remains unpaid, on or after 15th

March, 15th July, 15th September and 15th January of the financial year in case of tourist vehicles

described in clauses (a), (b) and (c), there shall be charged an additional sum of rupees one hundred

per month or part thereof.”.
