THE HIMACHAL PRADESH HINDU PUBLIC RELIGIOUS

INSTITUTIONS AND CHARITABLE ENDOWMENTS

(AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011

(AS ASSENTED TO BY THE GOVERNOR ON 24TH MAY, 2011)

ACT

further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable

Endowments Act,1984 (Act No.18 of 1984).

BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty-second Year of

the Republic of India as follows:—

Short title.—This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious

Institutions and Charitable Endowments (Amendment) Act, 2011.

Amendment of section 12-A.—In section 12-A of the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public

Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1984, (18 of 1984)—

(a) in sub-section (1), in clause (A), in sub-clause (iii), for the figures “70”, the figures

“20” shall be substituted and thereafter, the following new sub-clause (iv) shall be

inserted, namely:—

“(iv) 50% gold shall be converted into gold biscuits or coins and shall be sold to

the devotees and pilgrims on the current prevailing market price.”; and

(b) in sub-section (2), clauses (iv) and (v) shall be omitted.

(AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011

further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002

(Act No.15 of 2002).

BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty second Year of

the Republic of India as Follows:—

Short title.—This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and

Registration (Amendment) Act, 2011.

Amendment of section 32.—In section 32 of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism

Development and Registration Act, 2002, in sub- section (1), for the word “notify”, the word “fix”

shall be substituted.

Amendment of section 55.—In section 55 of the principal Act, after sub section(2),

the following shall be inserted, namely;-

“Provided that if a person commits an offence under this Act for more than two times,

the same shall not be compounded.”

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, if the default continues after

composition under sub section (1), the prescribed authority or the person authorized by the State

Government may seal the premises by requisitioning the help of the local police or shall pass

orders, in writing to disconnect the water and electricity connection of the tourism unit, to the

authority concerned and such authority shall be bound to comply with such orders and shall report

compliance to the prescribed authority.”

and Death Registration Act, 1969 supported by an affidavit stating therein that his sister Sadhna

Devi was expired on 21-8-2007 but due to inadvertence, he could not get the death of his sister

registered in the records of Gram Panchayat Pangi. He has further requested to issue an order for

registration of the same in the records of Gram Panchayat Pangi, Tehsil Kalpa, District Kinnaur.

Therefore, notice is hereby issued to the general public through this publication that if

anybody has any objection for the registration of death of said Sadhna Devi in the records of Gram

Panchayat Pangi, he/she may prefer his/her written or verbal objection before the undersigned

within a period of one month i. e. before 21-6-2011 failing which it will be presumed that nobody

has any objection for registration of death of Sadhna Devi and order under the Act ibid will be

issued to the Local Registrar of Gram Panchayat Pangi.
