Whereas the above named applicants has made an application under section 8 (4) of the
Himachal Pradesh Registration of Marriages Act, 1996 alongwith an affidavit stating therein that
they have solemnized their marriage on 11-3-2008 at Chetru but has not been found entered in the
records of the Registrar of Marriages.
And whereas, they have also stated that they were not aware of the laws for the registration
of marriage with the Registrar of Marriages and now, therefore, necessary order for the registration

Jubbal, District Shimla has preferred an application alongwith affidavit stating therein that he is a
retired Govt. Employee and as per service record his name is Shyam Lal Chauhan but whereas in
Matric certificate his name has been shown as Shyam Lal Deshta. Now he wants to change his
name permanently from Shyam Lal Deshta to Shyam Lal Chauhan to avoid any confusion in future
and also requsted to Publish proclamation regarding change of name in the H. P. Rajpatra.
Therefore proclamation is hereby made for the information of all concerned that the
applicant has changed his name from Shyam Lal Deshta to Shyam Lal Chauhan. Now the
applicant is known Shyam Lal Chauhan in future.

Whereas Shri Dhantu s/o Shri Saniya, r/o Village Sanat, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla,
Himachal Pradesh appeared before me and submitted an application alongwith an affidavit to
effect his name as Shri Dhantu entered as Shri Ramesh in Gram Panchayat record inadvertently. He
has apprised that the correct name mention supra be ordered to be entered in the Gram Panchyat
Bhalu.
Hence, proclamation is hereby made to the respondents-general public/Gram Panchayat
Bhalu for inviting the objection if any, if some one has any objection regarding registration of
name, he may appear before the undersigned court on or before 15-6-2012, failing which ex parte
proceeding will be initiated and the order of the registration of name be announced.
