No. EXN- F(1)-7/2012.—Whereas the draft amendment in Part-II-A of Schedule-A
appended to the Himachal Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No. 12 of 2005) was notified
in accordance with the provisions of section 10 of the Act ibid for inviting objections and
suggestions from the person(s) likely to be affected thereby, vide this Department Notification of
even number, dated 05th September, 2012 and published in the e-Gazette, Himachal Pradesh on
05th September, 2012;
And whereas no objection/suggestion has been received within the stipulated period in this
behalf;
Now, therefore, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, in exercise of the powers vested in her
under section 10 of the Act ibid is pleased to make the following amendments in Part-II-A of
Schedule-A appended to the Act ibid namely:—
AMENDMENT
After the existing entry no. 116 of Part-II-A of Schedule-A appended to the Himachal
Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005, the following new entry shall be added, namely:—
“ 117. Goods manufactured by industrial units in Himachal Pradesh and supplied to
Defence forces/Central Government Departments/Central Public Undertakings in the
course of inter-state trade or commerce against certificate in Form ‘ND’ issued by the
authorized officer/authority”.
