No. HOME-A-A(3)-4/2011.—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section
144 of the Himachal Pradesh Police Act, 2007 (Act No.17 of 2007) read with section 20 of
Himachal Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1968 (Act No.24 of 1968), the Governor of Himachal
Pradesh is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Police Rules, 1934 in
their application to the State of Himachal Pradesh, namely:—
1.
Short title and Commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Punjab Police
(Himachal Pradesh Amendment) Rules, 2013.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Rajpatra, Himachal
Pradesh.
2.
Substitution of Appendix 12.16.—For Appendix No. 12.16 appended to rule 12.16 of
the Punjab Police Rules, 1934 in their application to the State of Himachal Pradesh, the following
shall be substituted, namely:—
