Shimla-171 002, the 24^th February, 2014.

No. LLR-A(3)-1/2013.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section

(2) of section 28 read with sub-sections (5) and (6) of section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities

Act, 1987 (Act No. 39 of 1987), the Governor, Himachal Pradesh in consultation with the Chief

Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, is pleased to make the following rules further to

amend the Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Sr. Assistant Class-III, (Non

Gazetted), Ministerial services, Recruitment and Promotion Rules, 1997 notified vide this

Department Notification No. LLR-B(14)-4/96 dated 27-9-1997 and published in the Rajpatra,

Himachal Pradesh (Ordinary) dated 7-3-1998, namely :—

Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Himachal

Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Sr.Assistant Class-III, (Non-Gazetted),Ministerial

Services Recruitment and Promotion (First Amendment) Rules, 2014.

(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the Rajpatra,

Himachal Pradesh.

Amendment of Annexure-‘A’.—In Annexure–A to the Himachal Pradesh State Legal

Services Authority, Sr. Assistant Class-III, (Non- Gazetted), Ministerial Services, Recruitment

and Promotion Rules, 1997, (hereinafter referred to the said rules) for the provisions against clause

“(c) Contract Appointee will be entitled for one day’s casual leave after putting one month

service. However, the contract employee will also be entitled for 12 weeks Maternity

Leave and 10 day’s Medical Leave. He/She shall not be entitled for Medical Re-

imbursement and LTC etc. No leave of any other kind except above is admissible to

the contract appointee.

Provided that the un-availed Casual Leave and Medical Leave can be accumulated

upto the Calendar Year and will not be carried forward for the next Calendar Year.

(e) An official appointed on contract basis who has completed three years tenure at one

place of posting will be eligible for transfer on need based basis wherever required on

administrative grounds.”.

Amendment of Annexure-‘B’.—In Annexure–B of the said rules for the existing

provisions against Serial No. 4 and 6, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

“ 4. Contractual Sr. Assistant will be entitled for one day’s casual leave after putting in

one month service. However, the contract employee will also be entitled for 12 weeks

Maternity Leave and 10 day’s Medical Leave. He/She shall not be entitled for Medical

Re-imbursement and LTC etc. No leave of any other kind except above is admissible

programme for revision of Electoral Rolls of all the Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats in

the state vide its Notification No. SEC. 13-96/2012-I dated 8-8-2013;

Whereas the said programme was further modified vide Notification No. SEC.13-103/2013

2936-3000 dated 20-8-2013;

Whereas the Deputy Commissioner Mandi has brought to the notice of this Commission

that the work of electoral roll of Municipal Council Mandi could not be completed due to technical

difficulty in ERMS. software;

Whereas the Deputy Commission Mandi now is ready to publish the Electoral Rolls of

Municipal Council Mandi after completion of all stages as required under the H.P. Municipal

(Election) Rules, 1994;

Therefore, the State Election Commission in exercise the power vested in it under Article

243 ZA of the Constitution of India, Section 281 of Himachal Pradesh Municipal Act 1994 read

with Rule 3 of Himachal Pradesh Municipal (Election) Rules 1994 hereby orders that the electoral

roll of Municipal Council Mandi shall be finally published on 12th March, 2014.

The earlier notification dated 8-8-2013 to 20-8-2013 are modified to this extent in respect of

Municipal Council Mandi.

Shri Chander Singh and Smt. Chhuma Devi have filed an application alongwith affidavits in

this court under section 16 of Special Marriage Act, 1954 (Central Act) as amended by the

Marriage Laws (Amendment) Act, 01 (49 of 2001) that they have solemnized their marriage

ceremony on 10-2-2014 at Awahdevi Mata Mandir, Tehsil Tauni Devi, District Hamirpur,

Himachal Pradesh as per Hindu Rites and Customs and they are living together as husband and

wife since then. Hence their marriage may be registered under Special Marriage Act, 1954.

Therefore, the general public is hereby informed through this notice that any person who

has any objection regarding this marriage can file the objection personally or in writing before this

Court on or before 21-3-2014. After that no objection will be entertained and marriage will be
