No. 5-21/2012-ELN.—Whereas, Sh Pratap Singh, Naib-Tehsildar (Election), District

Election Office, Kangra at Dharamshala was entrusted with the charge of vacant post of Tehsildar

(Election) at Mandi in his own pay scale without any financial benefit to attend to important and

time-bound statutory works pertaining to Lok Sabha Elections-2014, till further orders, in public

interest, vide this departments office order No. 5-9/2014-ELN, dated 4th March, 2014;

Whereas, DPC meeting for filling up the vacancy of Tehsildar (Election) has been held on

13-3-2014 in the office of H.P. Public Service Commission, Shimla-171002 and the Departmental

Promotion Committee has recommended the name of Sh. Pratap Singh, Naib-Tehsildar (Election)

for promotion to the post of Tehsildar (Election) in order of merit.

Therefore, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, on the recommendations of Departmental

Promotion Committee, is pleased to order promotion of Sh. Pratap Singh, Naib-Tehsildar (Election)

to the post of Tehsildar (Election), Class-I (Gazetted) in the pay scale of Rs. 10300-34800/- plus

Rs. 5000/- Grade Pay against vacancy of Tehsildar (Election), with immediate effect.

On promotion, the aforesaid officer will continue to function as Tehsildar (Election) at his

present place of posting and will be entitled to all promotional benefits with immediate effect.

The above officer will remain on probation for a period of two years from the date of issue

of these orders subject to such further extension for a period not exceeding one year as may be

ordered by the competent authority in special circumstances and reasons to be recorded in writing.

The above officer will have to exercise option for fixation of pay under the provisions of

saving clause of FR-22(I)(a)(1) within a period of one month from the date of issue of these orders.

AND FORESTRY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2013

(AS ASSENTED TO BY THE GOVERNOR ON 15

further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and

Forestry Act, 1986 (Act No. 4 of 1987).

BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Sixty-fourth Year of

the Republic of India as follows :—

Short title.—This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Universities of

Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry (Amendment) Act, 2013.

Amendment of section 14.—In section 14 of the Himachal Pradesh Universities of

Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986, (4 of 1987) in sub-section (2), for clause (v), the

following clause shall be substituted, namely :—

‘‘(v)

Deputy Director General (Education), Indian Council of Forest Research &

Education, Directorate of Education, Dehradun;’’.

No.Health-A-B(9)1/2013.—Whereas the Government had ordered bifurcation of the cadre

of Teaching nursing personnels in College and School Cadre vide this department’s notification of

even number dated 3-12-2013.

And whereas the Sister Tutors/Tutor-cum-Clinical Instructors mentioned in Annexure-“A”

have opted for College Cadre, therefore, they will be considered for further promotion in College

Cadre only.

And whereas the Sister Tutors/Tutor-cum-Clinical Instructors mentioned in Annexure-“B”

have exercised their option for School Cadre, therefore, they shall be treated for promotion in

School Cadre in future.

The Sister Tutors/Tutor-cum-Clinical Instructors mentioned in Annexure-“C” have not

exercised their option either for College or School Cadre, therefore, as per this Department’s

notification of even number 3.12.2013, will be deemed to have exercised their option for School

Cadre only in future. This is however subject to the final outcome of CWP No.8829/2013-Amita

Puri Versus State of HP and others.

These orders shall come into force with immediate effect. The copy of the said orders may

be placed in the Service Book of the concerned Sister Tutors/Tutor-cum-Clinical Instructors.
