No. Home-C(A)3-1/2011.—In exercise of the powers conferred under sections 6, 7, 8 and 9

of the Shimla Road Users and Pedestrians (Public Safety and Convenience) Act, 2007, the

Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to notify the formats for making application for issuance

of permanent passes and renewal of permanent passes as well as for making application for

issuance of temporary and tourist passes and the colour of such passes in the following manner,

namely :—

1. Application for grant and renewal of a pass for sealed and restricted roads – An

application for grant of a permanent pass for driving a vehicle on sealed and restricted roads shall

be made in Form A. The pass so issued shall be renewed by the pass holder by making an

application in Form B. An application for grant of temporary and tourist pass shall be made in

Form C.

2. Colour and formats of Passes - The colour of pass (es) for sealed and restricted roads

shall be red and yellow respectively and the colour of consolidated pass involving sealed and

restricted roads shall be white. The colours of temporary and tourist passes for sealed and restricted

roads shall be blue and green respectively. The formats of passes for sealed, restricted, consolidated

and temporary and tourist shall be as per Annexures– I, II, III, IV and V respectively.

No. TSM-A (3)-1/2008-III.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 64 of the

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and Registration Act, 2002, the Governor, Himachal

Pradesh proposes to make the following rules further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Tourism

Development and Registration of Tourism Trade Rules, 2012 notified vide this Department

Notification No. TSM-A(3)-1/2008 dated 17.08.2012 and published in the Rajpatra Himachal

Pradesh dated 22-08-2012 for carrying out the purposes of the aforesaid Act and the same are

hereby published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh (Extra-Ordinary) for information of general

public;

Any interested person who has any objections(s) / suggestion(s) with regard to this rule, he

may send the same to the Additional Chief Secretary (Tourism & Civil Aviation) to the

Government of Himachal Pradesh and the Director of Tourism & Civil Aviation, Himachal

Pradesh, Shimla-9 within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of the said draft rules

in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh;

The Objection(s) or suggestion(s), if any, received within the period specified above shall

be taken into consideration by the State Government before finalizing the draft rules, namely :-

DRAFT RULES

Short title .—These rules may be called the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development

and Registration of Tourism Trade (Amendment) Rules, 2014.

Amendment of rule 10.—In rule 10 of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development

and Registration of Tourism Trade Rules, 2012, in subrule (a), third proviso shall be omitted.
